Add buffers

You can add a point or line buffer to your map, in the Drawing Tools.

Add point buffer

1. Open the Drawing Tools in the sidebar.
2. Find the Draw and create area.
3. Select the Buffer tool - it will turn orange.
4. Select Point.
5. Enter the radius you want - remember you can select metres, miles or kilometres by selecting the down arrow.
6. Choose your Line and Fill settings.
7. Finally, select the point on your map where you want the centre of the buffer.
8. Your buffer should be visible on your map.

Add line buffer

1. Open the Drawing Tools in the sidebar.
2. Find the Draw and create area.
3. Select the Buffer tool - it will turn orange.
4. Select Line.
5. Enter the distance you want - remember you can select metres, miles or kilometres by selecting the down arrow.
6. Choose your Line and Fill Settings.
7. Click or tap to select the point on your map where you want to start your line.
8. Keep clicking or tapping to add points to your line.
9. Double click to finish the line.
10. Your buffer should be visible on your map.
